The APOPSI Group of Companies is active in the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Education, and Consulting and is present in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus. APOPSI is one of the largest Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning Centers in Greece with national range, being certified and duly licensed by the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.The organization has trained – to date – more than 100,000 people across Greece in almost all business sectors and training fields (Tourism, Information Technology, Finance & Administration, Technical Professions, Manufacturing, Transportation, Health & Welfare, Agriculture, Environment, Pedagogics, Culture & Sports). 
 
The main activities of APOPSI concern the following areas: 

  • Provision of counselling and mentoring services for the promotion of business innovation and sustainability to established companies and start-ups and would be entrepreneurs through an established business incubator and accelerator at its premises in Piraeus Greece. 
  • Vocational training to unemployed, employees and self-employed in the form of face to face, blended learning or asyncronous/sunchronous e-learning. 
  • Career Counselling and support to unemployed and employees on issues such as exploring professional interests, competencies and skills, professional (re)orientation and networking with the labor market. 
  • Coordination, management and implementation of integrated projects and developmental programs related to Human Resources in the context of national and European initiatives. 
  • Implementation of studies and research on Human Resources and Local Development. 
  • Design and development of digital educational content and applications and educational e-Games. 
  • Design, development and customization of Learning Management Systems. 
  • Business mentoring/coaching for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. 
  • Networking between the unemployed and the Labour Market through the organization and monitoring of apprenticeship, internship and on-the-job training schemes. 
  • Dissemination of best practices by using a variety of tools and media. 

 
The company implements and applies cutting edge technologies and closely follows and monitors all the latest technology trends and advancements in web technologies, e-learning and learning management and provides integrated solutions, tailor made to the specific needs of each customer. APOPSI holds EN ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 27001:2013 and EN ISO 1435 Quality Assurance Systems applied to the provision of its services, the Information Technology Systems’ security and dissemination activities respectively. It should also be noted that the company has acquired a NATO manufacturer cage code (G1416). 

Mrs. Nektaria Marava is an Economist and Regionalist, holds a master’s degree in Urban & Regional Studies from Birmingham University (1998). As a public awareness expert, she has been co-organising or organised several international, national and local communication events in Greece. From 2014 -up to today, she has also been working with NESC in relation to its European projects and activities. As a certified instructor has participated in a series of advisory or learning activities held by a number of key institutes (National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA), Greek Lifelong Learning Centres, Cyprus International Institute of Management etc.). She is also part-time teacher at the apprenticeship Schools of the Hellenic Manpower Employment Organisation – OAED) aiming mostly to NEETs population. As a researcher, she has participated in a number of research projects and has published her work in national and international conferences, journals and books. 

Mr. Stelios Kaznesis holds a degree in Sociology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and has more than 15 years of experience in designing and implementing national and community initiatives in the fields of vocational training and Human Resource development, entrepreneurship and social economy promotion, social inclusion of vulnerable groups and promotion of equal opportunities. He is a certified trainer on vocational guidance from the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP).

Daniel Jianu has extensive managerial, business development and research experience which he has acquired in the USA, Romania and Greece. He has also experience in training, consulting, and generating of European Social Fund guidelines. He holds a MBA degree from The American University in Washington, DC and is currently completing a PhD in international relations at Erfurt University, Germany; Experience in entrepreneurship, training and social integration of vulnerable groups.
