Controvento Società Cooperativa Sociale
Controvento Società Cooperativa Sociale Onlus
Controvento is an Educational Social Cooperative, a Centre for Education for Sustainability and a Science Shop recognised by the Living Knowledge network. It is a non-formal education actor, which has been working since 2002 implementing local, regional and European policies on sustainability and citizenship education. Every year, Controvento conducts training courses aimed at school teachers of all levels, educators and university students, and educational workshops aimed at children, adolescents and youth, whose approach is experiential and collaborative. The workshops for children are mainly based on a psychomotor and scientific approach in nature, those aimed at adolescents on activities of education for sustainability and civic participation, and those aimed at young people on educational paths, which accompany them to dialogue with local and European policy makers on sustainability issues. Controvento collaborates with municipalities, region, local health authorities, universities, social enterprises, sustainability education centers and is a member of the international networks “ALLISS, Alliance Science and Society” and “Living Knowledge.”
