Center for the Promotion of Science
Center for the Promotion of Science (CPN) is a public institution established in 2010 by the Serbian Ministry of Science. The mission of CPN is to create a bridge between science and society by bringing together all relevant actors and the wider public in the process of research and innovation. The ultimate goal is the integration of society into research processes in order to gain the best possible insight into the needs of citizens and to adequately face social challenges.
Dobrivoje Lale Erić
Art historian by vocation, Lale is the head of the sector for international cooperation in CPN, coordinating many project initiatives on the verge between science and art, education and research. With his team, Lale is actively participating in different EU projects (Creative Europe, Horizon Europe) dealing with contemporary problems such as climate change, sustainable development, improving education and more.
Irena Šujdović
Sociologist by vocation, Irena is working in the sector for international cooperation in CPN and is involved in several international projects. She is currently coordinating the local activities within LOESS project in Serbia. Irena is passionate about making real changes in society through empowering the local communities to raise important questions within the public dialogue.
Mirjana Volarev
With a background in environmental sciences and policy, Mirjana is working in the sector for international cooperation in CPN and is involved in several international projects. She is a team member coordinating the LOESS activities in Serbia. Mirjana is passionate about climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Lena Ilić
With a background in biology and scientific publishing, Lena is working in the sector for international cooperation in CPN and is involved in several international projects. She is a team member coordinating the LOESS activities in Serbia. Lena is passionate about climate justice and environmental protection.
