Technological University Dublin

Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) has over 28,000 students. It was established in 2019 from the merging of three partner higher education institutions and has a history that goes back 130 years. The TU Dublin vision is to Create a Better World Together and the three pillars of our strategy to accomplish this are People, Planet and Partnership. Our focus is to foster a solution-oriented capability amongst our people, encouraging them to find rapid resolutions to the global challenges that we face. We seek to engage our stakeholders – students, staff, communities, industry and governments – in solving some of the world’s most pressing issues.

The LOESS group at TU Dublin has two core staff but also draws from the experience and expertise of colleagues who work in engaged research, sustainable development, environmental monitoring, environmental management and horticulture.
