LOESS unveils new database of soil education case studies
Are you looking for innovative and inspiring resources for soil education?
The LOESS project has just launched an online database of over 60 case studies featuring a diverse range of soil education resources, practices and initiatives from 15 European countries. The case studies offer practical examples for educators, covering five educational levels: primary, secondary, higher education, vocational training, as well as activities for the general public.
Compiled by LOESS project partners, the collection of learning activities includes citizen science, competitions, films, experiments, games, publications, school garden activities, field trips, and campaigns. The search facility can be used to find those most suitable to your interests, including whether activities are best suited for outdoor or indoor learning environments.
