KAROLINA LEWIŃSKA – Associate Professor
Karolina is a soil scientist. Her research focuses on the availability and mobility of potentially toxic elements, their behaviour under different environmental conditions and after soil treatment with various amendments. She investigates the factors that can modify the solubility of different elements in contaminated soils and materials as well as in water in the context of their distribution in the environment. Her scientific interests also include emerging pollutants like microplastic and pesticides. Additionally, she is involved in the studies on using spectral images and measurements obtained at various altitudes (laboratory, UAV, aviation, satellites) in environmental research. She is a member of Commission 3.5 of the International Union of Soil Sciences „Soil degradation control, remediation and reclamation“.
MAGDALENA SZCZEPAŃSKA – assistant professor
Academic teacher and researcher interested in spatial planning, spatial management, landscape architecture, cultural landscape, urban green areas, green infrastructure, ecosystem service, urban agriculture and horticulture, rural areas, village renewal, revitalisation, tourism development. The author or co-author of 3 scientific books, 60 publications in scientific journals and 20 chapters in scientific monographs. Co-author of strategies development for local government institutions. Participant in 30 national and international scientific conferences. Member of the board of the regional Association of Polish Landscape Architects. Faculty Coordinator of the Night of Scientists; Poznań Festival of Science and Art.
JOANNA MORAWSKA – adjunct
Academic teacher and researcher. She graduated from political science and did her PhD in economics. She has over twenty years of experience in university administration, national & international project management. She also cooperates with the University of Gdansk within SEA-EU Alliance (the European University). Her research interests are related to regional innovation (eco)systems, and especially the new forms of innovation, including (digital) social innovation and with a focus on the role of universities and its transformations.
EWA KACPRZAK – assistant professor
Academic teacher, researcher. He is a geographer whose scientific achievements fall within the scientific discipline of socio-economic geography and spatial management. Her scientific interests focus on issues in the field of agricultural geography and rural geography. He also researches tourism development in rural areas, especially enotourism and agritourism.
BARBARA MAćKIEWICZ, Associate Professor
Dr hab. Barbara Maćkiewicz, AMU Prof – member of the Faculty of Human Geography and Planning at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where she teaches property management, spatial management in the EU, urban agriculture and spatial development of cities and communes. She is author and co-author of scientific monographs, articles and notices about the real estate market, land management, urban agariculture, and alternative channels of food distribution. She participated in international research internships, mainly in Spain but also in Germany, Romania, Italy and France. She collaborates regularly with Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, Spain.
